A short, sharp walk up the Sunny Coast's favourite mountain. This mountain is always busy with people. It's a fairly steady trek up, with some steepish section - but nothing too hard. You can walk up it in 20 minutes easily. A lot of people jog it. From the top, the views south over Maroochydore and Mooloolaba look amazing!!

Great views from the top. It's not too steep. The signage says 2 hours return but this walk can be easily be completed in 1 hour walking a slow pace.

The rock steps made it to walk up to the submit. Just walk to the half way and enjoy the view. Don't waste your time to walk all the up because the view is the same.

Fun climb with good view of the coastline. If you plan to stay up top enjoying the view for a while I would recommend taking bug spray for the mozzies etc after recent rain.

This walk was nice until the trees drop off and you're in sun for the ascent. Wear a hat!! Well worth it for the views though!

Great climb, nice stone steps and an ancient feel about this peak

Massive traffic jams in several spots during weekend. Like a shopping mall on Christmas eve.

Did this again after " leg-day" at the gym .......just to make it a bit more challenging ;-). Very popular with the locals and busy on a weekday morning. Locals running up the mountain. Even a mobile coffee place now at car park !

Great place for a family day. Steps are tough for the unfit, but worth the effort.

Since I last climbed this there has been extensive work done on the track by stone masons. This has created an intricately created stone track with plenty of stone seats. This mountain is used extensively by fitness fanatics who like to jog up and down often carrying weights or tires. Great views at summit.

Mount Coolum is very popular amongst those into fitness, so is often busy. Its a climb most member's of a family could complete. It will certainly get your heart racing in you choose a brisk walk on this seemingly endless rock staircase. It offer's no risk of falling providing you keep to the track, with great Ocean views from the top.
