Completed mid week to avoid crowds. Walk was nice and quite. Quite muddy and falls were a little dry in places, rocks at creek crossings were very slippery , even in hiking boots. Very beautiful walk, easy gradient and gentle inclines.

Did walk from top carpark traveling anti clockwise. The top section had lots of long grass that has shot up with recent rains. There was a tree over the track furrher down but easy to get around. After recent rains the seasonal lagoon was over flowing and needed ro take the dry track around instead. Was really great to see. Falls are flowing well. I heard multiple lyerbirds on this walk. One barks as part of its call and another one mimics frog calls. Completed early on a weekday and didn't pass anyone. Great walk.

Personally I think this is the best walk on the mountain. Its like a magical enchanted garden. Completed starting from falls end and did not walk all the way to the top. The top section looked a little overgrown following recent rain, Im sure you could have easily gone through.

Great hike. Thanks for the detailed track notes, they came in handy. I was surprised with the terrain as I was mostly expecting fire trails. Instead there was a good variety. Some steep tracks and loose rocks, I guess that is why this track is marked as hard. Otherwise fairly easy for the experienced hiker. Nice views and it felt like you were in a remote area as there is no traffic noise and not as popular as other trails in the area.

Bloody awesome hike. Quite steap and a fair bit of rock hopping/scrambling. Gets the heart pumping. Great views all all the wau up and from the summit. Please do not attempt this without experience and a hydration pack. If you want to summit minimum 2ltrs water and food is essential. What a great hike! |

Amazing hike to the falls. Lots of rocks and tree roots. Not recommended unless you are an experienced hiker. Complete early to avoid heat in summer. Follow trail markers fluro tape tied to trees along the path as it is easy to loose the trail.

Great moderate walk. Slow climb to the top so its not too steap. Great views from the top looking towards Moogerah. The gymea lilies were starting to flower, would look amazing in spring in full bloom. Best to arrive early. We began walk at 7.30am and only saw 3 other couples on the way. When we arrived back at the carpark it was full and people were having trouble finding parking spaces. If you walk quietly and not yahoo and carry on you may be lucky to encounter a lyerbird like we did. Were able to view quite closely while she was scratching for food. We also heard multiple lyerbird calls throughout the rainforest section. Some cool rock formations to be seen.

Easy circut walk to scenic waterfall. We completed in an anti clockwise direction finishing with the stairs. Not as many stairs as expected although I expect they are challenging for some. Take a picnic lunch to enjoy in the park nearby.

Beautiful walk to an amazing waterfall and pools via some great rock formations. We completed the walk quite early on a public holiday. Arriving at about 6.30am I was not expecting to see many people. It was actually quite busy with tourists taking selfies in the waterfal area. Walked quite fast and was able to complete in about 1.25hrs.

Pleasent short walk with entry of the end of Flesser Rd. Was surprised to see a few other cars of walkers. Trail difficult to see as it runs off a wide fire trail. Was disapointed to see lots of lantana. There were areas with a large amount of birdlife. Looked to also be some terrestrial orchids although they were not in flower.

Relatively easy walk with a couple of hills. Beautiful flora with many interesting areas. I walked the Wickham Peak trail first and encountered a few people walking their dogs. Went on to Grass Tree Lookout which was very beautiful and followed a narrow trail further on to a secluded area that was alive with birdlife. Continued on the Caltryx Circuit and managed to finish the entire walk in 1.5 hrs walking briskly. I imagine e it would have been spectacular a few weeks earlier when the masses of acacia was in bloom. A great short walk that was better than I expected. |
