This was a long walk! Great scenery and terrific to cool off at Poona Lake for a dip on the way back to Bymien Day Use area. Freshwater Lake isn’t as stunning as Poona Lake but we did still see a lot of birdlife. Freshwater Campground is really well set out with clean and tidy facilities including hot showers! The walk took us just under 6 hours but we stop a lot for pics.
Warrie Circuit (Springbrook National Park)	25 Aug, 2019	Hard	17km return 5 hrs
Favourite hike so far! This was a wonderful walk... we started at the Canyon Lookout and did the entire circuit (without the Pinnacle) anticlockwise - a total of 14.5km...not 17km! Took us 5 hours but we paused a lot for photos of birds & the waterfalls.

A great walk not far from a main road. No noisy people...just a couple of horse riders. We did this one as part of a larger circuit and added the Geebung Circuit & the Figbird Trail which was a total of 8.3km. The Figbird Trail was the better one.

A great walk not far from a main road. Completed this walk as part of a larger circuit and added the Blackbutt Trail & the Figbird Trail which was a total of 8.3km. The Figbird Trail was the better one. Beautiful landscape and a nice mix of inclines & declines.

This was a wonderful walk! No people & a beautiful sense of getting away from everything. We did this one as part of a larger circuit and added the Geebung Circuit & the Blackbutt Trail which was a total of 8.3km. A couple of sections would be impassable with a bit of rain.
Greenes Falls via Rainforest Circuit + Cypress Grove Circuit (D'Aguilar National Park)	14 Aug, 2019	Medium	4.3km return 2 hrs
This is a great walk, lots of boardwalks, beautiful location. Would be awesome just after rain to see the water flowing. We added the Rainforest Circuit, Cypress Grove Track and the Westside Track to complete just over 10km.

This is a great short walk in a beautiful location. It was just a shame that it was busy with lots of people that need to have loud conversations. We added Greenes Falls, Cypress Grove Track and the Westside Track to complete just over 10km.

This was a really nice walk! We loved the narrow track, the darkness from the canopy and all of the birdlife. Beautiful views and stunning outlook into the rainforest below the track. After exiting the track at Lawton Road, and walking back along Mt Glorious Road to get back to our starting point at Maiala Picnic Area (as suggested by a book we have) it stops being a lovely walk...especially with the never ending trail of motorbikes and cars on the road so we would recommend to stay on the track in the rainforest - well away from the road as it’s safer & a much nicer outlook! We added the Rainforest Circuit, Greenes Falls and the Cypress Grove Track to complete just over 10km.
Araucaria Track (Brisbane Forest park D'Aguilar National Park)	14 Aug, 2019	Easy	5km 90 mins
A lovely walk - easy to navigate, good clear paths and well signed. Heaps of bell birds, whip birds, scarlet honeyeaters, white naped honeyeaters and superb fairy wrens. Loved it but I would not recommend this for people with wheelchairs/mobility aids due to some stairs and plenty of exposed tree roots and rocks. Just over 5km.
Tibrogargan Circuit (Glass House Mountains National Park)	11 Aug, 2019	Easy	3.3km return 90 mins
A great easy walk (with a few stairs) around the base of Tibrogargan. Join it up with the Trachyte Circuit to make it worth your while. The full loop was 7.5km. The Trachyte Circuit was the better one - more birdlife, less people, less screaming kids & a narrower track.

A great easy walk that we joined up with the Tibrogargan Circuit to make 7.5km. The Trachyte Circuit was the better circuit - more birdlife, less people, less screaming kids & a narrower track. Make sure you head up to Jack Ferris Lookout for wonderful views of Mt Beerwah & Mt Tibrogargan.
Venman Circuit (South East Queensland)	4 Aug, 2019	Medium	7.5km 2 hrs
Almost 8km to complete the circuit. This is not an easy track as indicated on this website - there’s a lot of small hills with some pretty steep sections. I’ve done easy, moderate and hard tracks & would put this around the low moderate. Lots of wildlife - wallabies, lace monitors & plenty of honeyeaters made for a good walk but a bit boring in some sections.

Completed this one with the Rainforest & Palm Creek Circuits. Ended up being 8.5km in total. A lovely place to hike & a good track.

Completed this as track part of a 9km circuit - started with the Litchfield track, then the Ghost Hole Track, Powerful Owl Trail, Hovea Track and ended with the Summit Track. A great morning out walking but was a disappointing ending on the summit track with the natural track all but gone thanks to concrete and steel.

A great walk down to the environmental centre but gets your heart going getting back up! Especially after already hiking 9km!! We also joined the short Butterfly track on which was an extra 400m.
